As an RN of 42 years, having cared for several ALS patients, although they presented with symptoms and were diagnosed later in life than he was, it is in fact an eventually fatal diagnosis (even with today's medical advancements). I am not totally shocked. The patients I cared for ended up on ventilators to actually breathe for them and were totally dependent immobile bed patients before they eventually passed. I am heartbroken for his family, especially his children.
i want to be real with people right now are you enjoying your favorite actors or loved ones die from diseases? or are we going to take a serious look and whats causing diseases/cancers. It's really that simple being more educated on what we are putting in our bodys and what we allow ourselves to be exposed to. This is actually a good time and place to discuss this because its happening infront of our eyes at an alarming rate. If we don't push this education on healthy and nutrition then we are digging our own graves .
I generally don't get sad by the passing of celebrities but this is one of the rare occasions I have. Seeing the way he was before als and how he became afterwards, even though I never met the man it was still very hard to watch and I can't even begin to imagine what his family are going through. Rip and hope he is in a better place and also wish all the best to his family and friends for the future. Thanks for the memories.

RIP ๐ Eric Dane, you were a cool guy. I loved him in Feast (2005). I always forget he's in Painkiller Jane (2005). I liked Painkiller Jane too ๐ he shook me all night long, and I'll never forget him. I'm saddened by the passing of him. I can't believe that. Thank you, Eric Dane, for the memories, and I'm sorry too ๐ my heart goes out to him and his family and his friends and his fans.
