Priscilla Presley shared that she and her late husband Elvis Presley would screen films ‘every night’ at his Tennessee estate Graceland early in their relationship.
Elvis met Priscilla at a party in West Germany in 1959 while he was stationed there by the US Army – he was 24 years old and she was 14.
He kept seeing her until he left Germany, then restarted his relationship with her three years later, flying her out to Los Angeles and taking her to Las Vegas.
Through the years, Priscilla has maintained she and Elvis did not have sex until they got married in Las Vegas in 1967, three weeks before her 22nd birthday.
Now she has explained that while they were dating, they would while away their evenings together with ‘a lot of movies,’ according to People.
In a reminder of her tender age at the time, Priscilla, 80, added that she ‘was always late for school, I’m sure’ after staying up at night with the Hound Dog singer.

‘We would have dinner about 10pm every night, and sometimes we’d see one, two, three, four movies all night,’ she recalled at the 2026 Old Bags Luncheon, which was held this Wednesday at The Breakers in Palm Beach.
The movie theater would call Elvis and Priscilla so that they could lodge their requests for specific titles, which they would get to see ‘first’ before the general public.
While he was involved with Priscilla, Elvis carried on an affair with his Viva Las Vegas co-star Ann-Margret, one of the reigning pinups of the 1960s.
When Priscilla learned of his indiscretions, she ‘picked up a flower vase and threw it across a room,’ she wrote in her memoir Elvis and Me.

It was Priscilla who made the decision to take her daughter off life support in the hospital after Lisa Marie went into cardiac arrest at her Calabasas home.
Priscilla has since remarked that Lisa Marie ‘didn’t want to be here anymore’ after her 27-year-old son Benjamin killed himself in 2020.

Elvis and Priscilla’s marriage was a troubled one – she once confessed that she ‘never wanted to leave town or even visit my parents as I didn’t want to give him that chance, thinking that someone would come and take my place,’ via Hello! magazine.
Priscilla, who herself had an affair with a karate teacher during the marriage, eventually separated from Elvis in 1972, with the divorce finalized the following year.
Elvis, who was infamous for his drug use, was found passed out on a bathroom floor in Memphis and declared dead of cardiac arrest in 1977.
Priscilla became a successful businesswoman as custodian of her ex-husband’s legacy, opening up his lavish estate Graceland for fans to visit.
Although she never tied the knot again, she did date hotshot lawyer Robert Kardashian for a period in between her divorce from Elvis and the singer’s death.
Kardashian wanted to marry Priscilla but she allegedly refused to take another husband while Elvis was alive, so he moved on with flight attendant Kris Houghton, known to the world today as Kris Jenner, via biographer Jerry Oppenheimer.
After Elvis died, Priscilla had a long relationship with attempted movie mogul Marco Garibaldi, with whom she shares her 38-year-old son Navarone Garibaldi.
