Spanish master of horror Jaume Balagueró ([REC], Venus) is back on the horror beat with the upcoming There’s Someone in the Garden, which sounds like a twisty genre-bender.

Úrsula Corberó (“Money Heist,” “The Day of the Jackal”) will star.

Variety details, “Described as a combination of ghost cinema and crime thriller, the film begins with a haunted-house setup — a 10-year-old becomes convinced her family’s new home is haunted as strange events mount — before the plot delivers a significant twist.”

Guillem Clua (“Smiley,” “God’s Crooked Lines”) wrote the screenplay.

Kowalski Films produces There’s Someone in the Garden (Spanish title: Hay alguien en el jardín), with co-producers including Minoria Absoluta and Feelgood Media.

Stay tuned for more as we learn it.
