We’re nearing the end of The Multiverse Saga as the final Phase of it, Phase 6, started in July 2025 with The Fantastic Four: First Steps. There’s still plenty to enjoy though before it all ends, including Avengers: Doomsday later this year.

As well as an epic Avengers double-bill, Phase 6 will also include the return of Tom Holland’s Spider-Man, as well as the continued MCU resurgence of Charlie Cox’s Daredevil. Oh and the surprise return of Robert Downey Jr to the MCU – but not as Iron Man.

There’s a lot to keep on top of, so that’s where we come into help with everything you need to know about Phase 6.

Marvel Phase 6 release dates: What is the current Phase 6 timeline?

As ever, release dates can shift, but here’s how the upcoming Phase 6 schedule looks as of 19 February 2026:

24 March 2026 – Daredevil: Born Again season two
31 July 2026 – Spider-Man: Brand New Day
18 December 2026 – Avengers: Doomsday
Late 2026 – VisionQuest
March 2027 – Daredevil: Born Again season three
17 December 2027 – Avengers: Secret Wars

Blade was originally thought to be part of Phase 6, but it’s now been indefinitely postponed, so who knows whether that will even happen.

Among the TV shows, we’re also expecting VisionQuest, with Paul Bettany reprising his role, will be released at some point in 2026 which would make it part of Phase 6, but it doesn’t yet have a confirmed release window other than “late 2026”.

Marvel Phase 6 movies: Which movies are in Phase 6?

The Fantastic For: First Steps started the movies side of the climactic phase of the Multiverse Saga.

The movie introduced Pedro Pascal’s Reed Richards, Vanessa Kirby’s Sue Storm, Ebob Moss-Bachrach’s Ben Grimm and Joseph Quinn’s Johnny Storm into the MCU, and they’ll all be back in Avengers: Doomsday.

An epic Avengers double-bill – Avengers: Doomsday and Avengers: Secret Wars – will end Phase 6. We don’t know the confirmed Secret Wars cast yet, but Doomsday brings back the likes of Chris Evans, Chris Hemsworth, Anthony Mackie, Florence Pugh, Patrick Stewart, Ian McKellen, Simu Liu and many, many more.

In between those two movies, Tom Holland returns in Spider-Man: Brand New Day, but right now, we don’t know much about the new Spidey outing other than Zendaya will also be back and Sadie Sink is joining the MCU in a mystery role.

The next Avengers movie was originally called Avengers: The Kang Dynasty, but it’s been changed after Marvel dropped Jonathan Majors following a trial conviction for assault and harassment.

We don’t know if Kang will be recast yet, especially considering the movie has now a new major villain – Robert Downey Jr is back at Marvel to play Victor Von Doom, aka Doctor Doom, in Avengers: Doomsday.

As for Avengers 6, Secret Wars, it’s the huge comic book crossover event that many fans expected Phase 4 to lay the groundwork for. If it follows the comics, it could well act as a soft reboot for the entire MCU, but we’ll have to wait and see.

Excitingly, Joe and Anthony Russo are returning to direct the double-bill, as it was officially confirmed at the Comic-Con 2024.

Marvel Phase 6 TV shows: Which TV shows are in Phase 6?

A couple of animated shows – Eyes of Wakanda and Marvel’s Zombies – kicked off the TV side of Phase 6. The former follows Wakandan warriors throughout history, while the latter returns to the zombies universe of What If…? season one.

We’ve then had another MCU debut with Yahya Abdul-Mateen II as the titular character of Wonder Man, which also brought back Sir Ben Kingsley as Trevor Slattery.

After a well-received first season, Daredevil: Born Again returns for its second season in March 2026 with all the cast, including Charlie Cox and Vincent D’Onofrio, back in action. They’ll also be back in an already-confirmed third season, set to follow in March 2027.

Phase 6 is also set to include VisionQuest – which will bring back Paul Bettany’s Vision – and the second season of Your Friendly Neighbourhood Spider-Man, but neither of them have confirmed release windows, so they might be shifted later.

You can catch up on almost of the MCU to date on Disney+.
