    1. This was way back in 2003. The concept of the drunk cant consent wasnt huge yet. This is only viewed as the assault it was today because the way we see assault as a society has changed.

I was an adult in 2003, this happened a lot, but very few really saw it as assault at the time.

    2. I’m not saying she didn’t black out and wasn’t raped but looking at the clip, in that moment, she definitely seemed robust when she was aggressively making out with the guy.

    3. I remember feeling SO bad for her at the time when she called her boyfriend. I was like 15 and knew even at that time that it probably shouldn’t be filmed.

    4. Tyra banks is clearly not wrap too tight. The Shandi model didn't explicitly say she was assaulted and it was clear she was fully engaged with the sexual encounter. Apparently she took issue with the fact producers didn't intervene however at the end of it all it wasn't producers responsibility to monitor the contestants if they choose to drink, have sex with strangers, etc etc…
Although they are aware they are being filmed It is unfortunate all of those involved with the production of that show is self serving and would allow the demise of those woman to be broadcasted for a fatter paycheck. That's the reality of the entertainment business .

    5. The basic lack of human decency in these comments is sad. There is no compassion. My generation thankfully did not have reality TV. We were raised to help all people in distress, not film and profit from it. This young girl did not consent. No one stepped in to help her. Absolutely shameful.
