Martin Short is facing another family tragedy. The comedy legend’s daughter, Katherine, died by suicide on Feb. 24 at just 42 years old and sadly, her death is only the most recent stunning loss in Martin’s life. He lost both his parents and his brother by early adulthood, sharing the painful memories in his 2014 memoir and reflecting on the grief in a CNN interview the previous year. He faced devastating heartbreak once again when his wife of 30 years, Nancy, died of ovarian cancer in 2010 at 58 years old. Katherine was their oldest child, and Martin also has two sons whom he shared with Nancy.
