British Court Upholds Fredrick Ward Sr’s Final Will Decision
A British grandfather left nearly his entire £500,000 estate to his son and a family friend, awarding his grandchildren just £50 each. When Fredrick Ward Sr passed away in 2020, his will transferred the bulk of his assets, including a flat valued at about £450,000, to his son Terry Ward and Susan Wiltshire.
The grandchildren contested the decision in court, claiming the split was unreasonable. During proceedings, it emerged that Ward felt hurt by what he saw as a lack of support, saying they had not visited him during three hospitalizations for a lung condition.
