Meghan Markle is reportedly glad that she left the royal family before the recent mishaps. Recently, ex-Prince Andrew was allegedly arrested due to suspicion of misconduct in public office. While Thames Valley Police released him, his name was not found in the police statement. Now, according to a source, Markle is elated not to be part of the monarchy amid the crisis.

According to In Touch, former Prince Andrew’s alleged arrest left Meghan Markle “totally vindicated” in her decision to exit the royal family. The source stated the Duchess of Sussex “finds the situation disturbing and upsetting.” Moreover, it “reinforces her belief that stepping away when they did was absolutely the right call.” They further added, “Watching it all unfold makes her so grateful they escaped when they did.”
The source continued, “This crisis with Andrew, and how the Firm has handled it, is just more proof that any notion of a part-time role for her in the institution simply isn’t viable or wise in any way, shape or form.” They explained, “She views the whole thing as terribly corrupt and toxic and wants her family a million miles away.” On the other hand, “it’s a lot more complicated” for her husband, Prince Harry.
The source claimed the Duke of Sussex is “homesick.” Additionally, he “has been dreaming of this life where he and Meghan and the kids could divide their time.” This might include serving, “as part-time working royals, the way he pitched when they left.” However, “this situation has hammered home how deeply unlikely it is that will ever happen.”
Recently, it was reported that the Sussexes are “gloating” over Andrew’s arrest. According to Rob Shuter‘s insiders, the couple felt vindicated after the ex-Duke of York’s detention. One Montecito insider claimed, “They’re gloating.” The individual continued, “They do feel validated. For years, they were painted as the problem.” Another source said Harry and Markle, “were criticized for escaping. Now people understand that leaving wasn’t impulsive — it was survival.”
