Using “highly skilled” forensic lip-readers, of which there are only a few in the country, Channel 5’s Lip-Reading the Royals uncovered a conversation between Prince Edward and Princess Anne that suggested they weren’t too keen on the Duchess of Sussex.
Sat next to each other in Westminster Abbey, the siblings were thought to be having a conversation about what was going on within the royal family at time.
One lip reader said she believes Edward remarked: “They won’t know until they’ve broken up. We mustn’t let her get too comfy.”
Anne is then believed to have responded: “Meghan is very jealous and a scaremonger.”
Sharing his own review of the remarks, Royal Family commentator Dickie Arbiter said: “Meghan has always been jealous, jealous of other members of the family, so I can understand how the family reacts to Meghan. There’s no love lost between them, and nor will there be.”
The lip reader explained that both Edward and Anne laughed, before she went on to say: “I’ve made sure that she knows that I’m idiot-proof.”
The Duke of Edinburgh then responded: “We shall continue to ignore, but it’s the most effective way for removing the unwanted,” before Anne said: “We have amounted that there is a disconnection.”

TV presenter Cristo Foufas declared: “I’m absolutely blown away that during this coronation, they’re having these sorts of conversations within earshot of each other. It’s unbelievable to me.”
Royal superfan Jo Taylor deciphered that this meant Edward and Anne assumed that Prince Harry and Meghan would eventually split up, branding it “crazy”.
“They clearly don’t like her, and are waiting for them to split up. But where’s the support for Harry and that then?” she added.
“I’m just a bit speechless because of how blatant it is and how it is spoken about in that way,” the star said.
Cristo added: “These are secret conversations, well, that aren’t so secret, because they’re clearly happy to have them under the public gaze.”
