Loose Women star Kaye Adams will not be returning to her BBC Scotland radio show. Kaye was taken off air from her morning radio programme Mornings With back in October.
The decision was reportedly made following allegations about her behaviour, although the BBC has not commented on the reason. BBC Scotland said the presenter line-up would remain as it is for the moment.
A spokesperson said: “With regard to the presentation line-up on Mornings With, Kaye Adams will not be returning to this role. In the immediate future Connie McLaughlin will continue to present Mornings With on Mondays to Wednesdays, with Stephen Jardine presenting on Thursdays and Fridays.”

The Daily Record/Sunday Mail and Scottish Daily Express reported that ‘three misconduct claims were upheld’.
The 63-year-old was accused of inappropriate behaviour against colleagues, including throwing a pen at one, using the C-word against another and belittling an intern and their professional skills – all of which were upheld, it has been claimed. Two other claims were reportedly not upheld, the Mail Online reports.
The BBC previously said that it “would not comment on individuals”, assuring the public that they manage complaints with “robust internal processes”. Adams has previously denied any wrongdoing, arguing her “assertiveness” could have been mistaken for bullying. The Mirror has reached out to Kaye Adams’ reps for comment.
It is believed the BBC’s Call It Out scheme was used to make the complaint. The initiative was set up to address inappropriate behaviour in the workplace, and followed on from the scandal over former MasterChef presenter Gregg Wallace.
Kaye spoke about the ordeal on her podcast, How To Be 60, at the end of last year. Speaking to co-host Karen MacKenzie, she said: “I have to warn you if you’re here for the laughs you might be disappointed because we have both had the s****iest weeks ever, albeit for very different reasons.”
Kaye was then asked how she was feeling and sarcastically replied: “Oh, I’m great!” She said she had been getting up later as she’s not been on the show, meaning that her partner Ian Campbell’s alarm now goes off before her’s does.
She added: “I tell you what I’m finding hard is not sleeping cos I love my sleep and I’m not sleeping so well. I tell you something – this is gallows humour – because I’m not getting up at 6am like I used to, it’s Ian’s alarm that goes off first.
“I don’t usually hear Ian’s alarm because I am up and out and away. Do you know what Ian’s alarm is? Always Look On The Bright Side Of Life!,” she said.
A friend reportedly told The Sun that Kaye’s exit from the BBC “feels like a stitch-up”. The source added: “Her ratings are really good — the highest on BBC Scotland. She’s worked there for 15 years without issue, and at ITV without complaints since 1999.
“Are we to believe she has suddenly become a different person? She’s freelance, so they could have just said, ‘This isn’t working out’. It doesn’t make sense, unless the BBC just wanted her out and didn’t want to be accused of ageism and sexism as it has been in the past.”
