Sinners won the top film award Sunday night at 32nd annual Actor Awards (formerly known as the Screen Actors Guild Awards).
The movie’s cast took home the award for best performance by an ensemble in a film. In addition, Michael B. Jordan won for his leading role in Ryan Coogler’s film.
Also in the film categories, Jessie Buckley won best leading actress for Hamnet, while Sean Penn was named best supporting actor for his role in One Battle After Another. Amy Madigan won the supporting actress nod for Weapons.
In the TV categories, The Studio was named best comedy series ensemble, with Seth Rogen winning best actor in a comedy series. He also accepted the best actress in a comedy series nod on behalf of Catherine O’Hara, who died in January, giving a touching tribute to his late co-star.
The Pitt won the award for best ensemble in a drama series, while Noah Wyle took home the award for best actor for his role on the show. Keri Russell was named best actress in a drama series, for The Diplomat.
In the limited series categories, Michelle Williams won for her performance in Dying for Sex and Owen Cooper won for Adolescence.
The winners for best stunt ensemble were announced during Netflix’s red carpet preshow, with Mission: Impossible — The Final Reckoning and The Last of Us triumphing in the film and TV categories, respectively.
Kristen Bell hosted the ceremony, which is streaming live on Netflix from the Shrine Auditorium & Expo Hall in Los Angeles. (See the red carpet looks and arrivals.) Organizers announced the name change — they’re officially now known as The Actor Awards presented by SAG-AFTRA — in November, and Bell referenced that in a musical number performed during her monologue.
During the live telecast, Woody Harrelson presented the Life Achievement Award to Harrison Ford at the 2026 Actor Awards. The show opened with its signature “I am an actor” segment including Teyana Taylor, Michael J. Fox and other stars.
