Jenna Ortega just walked the red carpet at the 2026 Actor Awards—formerly known as the Screen Actors Guild (SAG) Awards—and made an unexpected departure from her signature Wednesday-coded style.

Instead, her look channeled the lingerie trend via a pearlescent slip dress, complete with a lace-torn bodice, a plunging V-neckline, and a distressed hemline along the high-leg slit. Working with stylist Enrique Melendez, Ortega complemented the look with thigh-high sheer socks in light gray and a pair of black pleaser platform sandals. She accessorized with layered necklaces, which included long pearl strands and a tied black string. For glam, she leaned into her onscreen character with Gothic makeup—like smokey eyes and a vampy red lip—by Mélanie Inglessis. Her hair, styled by Dom Forletta, featured loose side-swept curls.

Earlier in the 2026 award season, the stylist-actor duo teamed up with Dilara Findikoglu for a method-dressing goth-princess Golden Globes gown. They have also been known to tap smaller designers for red-carpet looks, including Torlowei for a lace-trimmed silk chiffon dress in green and Ukranian brand Bevza for a collar bodysuit and sculptural maxi skirt (both at Marrakech Film Festival).

This evening, Ortega was nominated for Performance by a Female Actor in a Comedy Series for the second season of Tim Burton’s Netflix show—alongside Kathryn Hahn (The Studio), Jean Smart (Hacks), Kristen Wiig (Palm Royale), and the late Catherine O’Hara for her performance in The Studio. The star was previously up for the same award in 2023 for her work on Wednesday’s Season One, and wore an asymmetrical, sculpted black Versace gown for the occasion.
