It seems congratulations are in order for Hollywood’s it couple: Zendaya and Tom Holland are officially married! Law Roach, the Challengers star’s longtime stylist, confirmed the news ahead of the 2026 SAG Actor Awards on Sunday.
“The wedding has already happened,” Roach told Entertainment Tonight. “Y’all missed it.”
While they’ve been photographed out as a couple on occasion, the Spider-Man costars or “Tomdaya,” as their fans affectionately refer to them, have been known to keep their relationship out of the public eye. Unfortunately for fans, don’t expect the famously offline couple to share any photos from their wedding.
“It will probably be a wedding dress that nobody will ever see,” Roach previously told Access Hollywood of what the Euphoria star would wear for her big day. “She and Tom are super private. There won’t be a Vogue spread, or there won’t be, you know, pictures of the wedding, and the people that she will invite will be really respectful of their privacy.”

2016: Just friends (and costars)

Zendaya and Holland hit the red carpet together in July, where they posed for photos at the San Diego Comic-Con. The Dune 2 star celebrated her friendship with Holland on Instagram in November, sharing their Hollywood Reporter cover.
“Amidst all the chaos and sadness…this one good thing did happen to me today. Honored to share it with the very best…Spider-Man himself @tomholland2013 🙏🏽,” she wrote.
2017: Romance rumors swirl as ‘Spider-Man: Homecoming’ hits theaters

It wasn’t long before rumors began circulating that the costars were more than just friends. The duo was photographed together on countless occasions while doing press for their film, Spider-Man: Homecoming, which hit theaters that July. Speculation that their friendship had turned romantic hit a fever pitch, though Zendaya and Holland set the record straight on separate occasions.
Ahead of the Spider-Man: Homecoming premiere, Holland gushed about their friendship, telling People, “We are like the best of friends. She’s so great and amazing.”
The duo playfully responded on Twitter to rumors that they’d gone on vacation together.
“Wait wait…my favorite is when it says we go on vacations together HA! I haven’t been on a vacation in years! hbu?” Zendaya tweeted to Holland.
Holland responded, “Does the press tour count?”
Zendaya, in an August interview with Variety, confirmed that she and Holland were not dating.
“We are friends,” she said. “He’s a great dude. He’s literally one of my best friends. This past how many months we’ve had to do press tours together. There’s very few people that will understand what that’s like at 20 years old.”
2018: ‘All hail the queen’
Who wouldn’t gush over Zendaya’s chainmail dress at the Met Gala? The Euphoria star attended fashion’s biggest night that year in a Joan of Arc-inspired creation by Versace. Holland posted a photo of Zendaya on his Instagram, alongside the caption, “All hail the queen. Killing it mate 🙌🏻”
In June, Zendaya shared a video of Holland wielding a lightsaber, with the caption, “Happy birthday loser…”
Holland referred to Zendaya as “mate” once more in September, this time in an Instagram post for her birthday. The Uncharted actor wrote, “Me, myself and the birthday girl. Happy birthday mate – keep killing it and paving the way for the rest of us ♥️”

Alas, Holland shut down dating rumors once more in June. The English actor told Elle that while he wasn’t dating anyone at the moment, he was “definitely a relationship person” and “not the fleeting type at all.”
Meanwhile, in August, Zendaya and her Euphoria costar Jacob Elordi were spotted on vacation together in Greece.
2020: Holland seemingly confirms romance with Nadia Parkes
Zendaya and Elordi were photographed together in New York City. While they don’t confirm their romance, a photo from the February outing shows the Wuthering Heights star casually leaning over to kiss Zendaya.
Romance is also in the air for the Spider-Man star. Holland seemingly went Instagram official with British actress Nadia Parkes in July, and the couple reportedly sheltered in place together during the coronavirus lockdown.
2021: The kiss that almost broke the internet

Do you remember where you were when that photo of Tomdaya came out? After years of referring to each other as best friends, the Spider-Man costars were seen sharing a kiss in Los Angeles.
From there, it seems Tomdaya did little to negate romance rumors. To celebrate Zendaya’s birthday in September, Holland shared an adorable photo of them together on the set of Spider-Man, alongside the caption, “My MJ, have the happiest of birthdays. Gimme a call when your up xxx.” The Instagram post has garnered more than 20 million likes.
In October, Holland posted a photo of Zendaya at the Dune premiere alongside a heart-eyes emoji. (Holland has a history of getting stopped in his tracks when he sees Zendaya on the red carpet.) Two days later, a Buzzfeed interview of Zendaya and her Dune costar Timothée Chalamet went live. In the video, Chalamet is asked who Zendaya’s biggest crush is, to which he responds, “Easy, Tom Holland!”
The couple eventually addressed the infamous kissing-in-the-car photo. For GQ’s November cover story, Holland opened up about how fame compromises privacy in a relationship. It wasn’t that they weren’t ready to go public with their relationship — they just preferred not to.
“One of the downsides of our fame is that privacy isn’t really in our control anymore, and a moment that you think is between two people that love each other very much is now a moment that is shared with the entire world,” Holland said.
Zendaya shared the same perspective, also telling the outlet, “The equal sentiment [we both share] is just that when you really love and care about somebody, some moments or things, you wish were your own… I think loving someone is a sacred thing and a special thing and something that you want to deal with and go through and experience and enjoy amongst the two people that love each other.”
Two days ahead of the Spider-Man: No Way Home premiere, Zendaya celebrated Holland by posting two photos of him on Instagram: One of Holland while filming the movie and another of Holland in a Spider-Man suit as a child.
“My Spider-Man, I’m so proud of you, some things never change and good thing♥️@tomholland2013,” she wrote.
2022: Trips to New York City, Boston, Paris and Oakland, Calif.

If there’s one thing Tomdaya proved in 2022, it’s that they’re endlessly supportive of each other. In February, Zendaya was spotted in New York City to support Holland as he promoted his film Uncharted. The following month, Holland visited Zendaya in Boston while she was shooting Luca Guadagnino’s Challengers.
Of course, it wouldn’t be Tomdaya without a heartfelt birthday post. Zendaya celebrated Holland’s birthday in June with a sweet black-and-white photo of them together with the caption, “Happiest of birthdays to the one who makes me the happiest <3.” The photo, unsurprisingly, has more than 26 million likes on Instagram.
Following her historic win at the 2022 Emmys in September, where she took home the award for Outstanding Actress in a Drama Series for Euphoria, Zendaya subtly mentioned Holland.
“Well, I didn’t have to text my mom because my mom was already there, she’s here tonight, which is very special,” Zendaya told E! News. “And I texted my boyfriend.”
Zendaya and Holland were later seen celebrating her birthday in New York City that same month, at the Louvre in Paris in November, and then at the Euphoria star’s old high school in Oakland, Calif., in December, where they met fans and reunited with the actress’s theater teacher, Tavia Percia.
2023: An engraved gold ring and more public outings

While Zendaya and Holland kept things pretty lowkey, they were seen out together on occasion. Eagle-eyed fans also noticed Zendaya sporting some new jewelry: a gold signet ring with Holland’s initials. The ring was captured in a photo shared by the actress’s manicurist in March. Holland also reportedly honored his girlfriend with a sweet sartorial tribute of his own: The Crowded Room actor was spotted wearing pants with the initial “Z” on the back pocket.
In an interview with the Hollywood Reporter for its June cover story, Holland dished on why he and Zendaya prefer to keep their relationship private.
“Our relationship is something that we are incredibly protective of and we want to keep as sacred as possible,” he said. “We don’t think that we owe it to anyone, it’s our thing, and it has nothing to do with our careers.”
Zendaya shared the same sentiment. She told Elle in August that she enjoys having control over what she chooses to share. “It’s about protecting the peace and letting things be your own but also not being afraid to exist,” she said.
2024: Hyping each other up and confirming Holland has ‘rizz’

It was a big year for both Zendaya and Holland. After shutting down breakup rumors in February, Tomdaya continued to show up for one another: Zendaya gushed about Holland’s performance in the West End production of Romeo & Juliet, while Holland raved about Challengers being released in theaters. The Drama star also joined Holland at the launch of his non-alcoholic beer brand, Bero, in October.
Earlier that year, the Malcolm & Marie star also went out of her way to compliment Holland’s charisma. While chatting with Buzzfeed in February, Zendaya was asked which of her Dune costars had the most “rizz.”
“Rizz is short for charisma, right?” she said. “Everybody’s kind of got their own. I think someone who has beautiful charisma, not on the Dune cast, but I know personally, works for me, is Mr. Tom Holland. I’m more shy and kind of quiet, so it takes a little bit more to pull me out of my shell. But he’s great at just talking to people and getting to know people. You see him on talk shows and stuff like that. He’s just naturally very good at that. Whereas for me, I’ve definitely had to pull it out of me a little bit. He’s got that natural gift.”
2025: Holland calls Zendaya his fiancée

While chatting with Men’s Health for its January issue, Holland revealed why he doesn’t walk the red carpet with Zendaya during her premieres: “Because it’s not my moment, it’s her moment, and if we go together, it’s about us.”
Holland also revealed his plans to step away from acting once he becomes a father.
“When I have kids, you will not see me in movies anymore. … Golf and dad. And I will just disappear off the face of the earth,” he added.
Three days after Holland’s interview was published, Zendaya attended the Golden Globes, where she sparked engagement rumors. The star was spotted with a noticeable, distinct accessory — a diamond ring on her ring finger — that wasn’t Bulgari like the other jewelry she wore. She also wore the Jessica McCormack-designed ring in question at a special screening of Challengers the following day.
The engagement, which was first reported by TMZ, was later confirmed by Holland’s father, Dominic, in a Patreon post.
Though the biggest confirmation of a Tomdaya engagement came from Holland himself.
In September, Holland sent the internet into a frenzy after a video of him promoting his nonalcoholic beer brand during a panel discussion went viral online. When the panel moderator refers to Zendaya as Holland’s girlfriend, the proud husband-to-be gently corrects him: “Fiancée,” he says.
Though they’re usually out of the public eye, Tomdaya made a rare public appearance in December, when they attended The Traitors Live Experience in London with Holland’s family and friends.
2026: Zendaya steps out with a gold band on her finger; Law Roach says the pair wed in secret
When Zendaya was spotted out in Los Angeles in February, fans were quick to notice that her luxurious engagement ring had been swapped for an understated gold band. The speculation was immediate: Did Zendaya and Holland get married?!?
Thankfully, it wasn’t long before confirmation was seemingly given: Law Roach, Zendaya’s stylist for more than a decade, told a reporter at the 2026 SAG Actor Awards that the couple had tied the knot.
