After her eviction from the royal home and ex-Prince Andrew’s arrest, Sarah Ferguson may not have a permanent place to call home right now. The former Duchess of York has reportedly ended up staying with friends after losing her living arrangement at Royal Lodge in Windsor, an outcome related to her and her ex-husband’s fallout from the royal family. Ferguson and Andrew divorced years ago, but they continued to live together at Royal Lodge.

King Charles decided to evict ex-Prince Andrew and Sarah Ferguson from the royal property — an event that preceded Andrew’s arrest — and now, Ferguson may not have a home. With that chapter over, Page Six exclusively said Ferguson has relied on her personal circle for somewhere to stay. The report names Priscilla Presley as one of the friends who has hosted her.
As per the outlet, the situation gets more difficult when New York enters the picture, because Ferguson used to visit the city often and would stay with friends. Now, sources claim some former allies want distance, especially after new controversial revelations. One insider told Page Six, “Everyone’s telling her that now’s not a good time,” adding, “A lot of people actually really like her,” but her controversial past “just isn’t wise right now.”
Additionally, Page Six suggested that family optics play a major role. Ferguson’s daughter, Princess Eugenie, lives in New York, but the report claimed that both mother and daughter worry that a public connection could draw unwanted attention to Eugenie and the rest of the family.
Meanwhile, another insider said, “Now that Andrew has lost his royal title, the girls [Eugenie and older sister Beatrice] are the only members of the family who are real royals. It’s more important than ever for them to be kept as far away from the scandal as possible.” Right now, Ferguson has fewer safe places to be and more hesitation from people around her.
