2026 Met Gala Host Committee Co-Chairs
Anthony Vaccarello and Zoë Kravitz will co-chair the Met Gala Host Committee!
By the way, co-chairing the Met Gala is a high-profile, ceremonial role given to major cultural figures who serve as the public faces of that year’s event. Co-chairing the Met Gala Host Committee, by contrast, is a behind-the-scenes fundraising role focused on supporting the Costume Institute rather than promoting the gala itself.
Members of the Host Committee this year include: Sabrina Carpenter, Doja Cat, Gwendoline Christie, Alex Consani, Misty Copeland, Elizabeth Debicki, Lena Dunham, Paloma Elsesser, LISA, Chloe Malle, Sam Smith, Teyana Taylor, Lauren Wasser, Anna Weyant, A’ja Wilson, and Yseult, per Vogue.
Even more names were added just a few days ago: Adut Akech, Angela Bassett, Sinéad Burke, Rebecca Hall, Aimee Mullins, Tschabalala Self, Amy Sherald, and Chase Sui Wonders.
Jeff Bezos and Lauren Sánchez Bezos will also serve as honorary chairs.
The Met Gala will take place on the First Monday in May, which is May 4, 2026. Anna Wintour will once again take the helm, but we already know which celebrities will NOT be invited.
