I was threatened with a Chapter 5 separation because I informed my chain of command that I was not going to re-enlist after my legs healed. I rolled around in a wheelchair for 12 weeks and had physical therapy for another 8 after that. Then I had 90 days until the end of my enlistment and I started ETS processing. It was great.

thats actually insane. not allowing SOLDIERS to have food in their barracks is actually worse then prison. atleast there you can have snack in your bunk. like gat dam. no wonder su*c*des are high in the military. can be with fam, gotta watch you homies get blow to bite, and you cant even have a fucking granola bar in there… thats just so fucked up.
What a soft generation. I went to coast guard boot camp in 2005 and the only drink you had for 8 weeks was water and the only food you had was from the chow hall. They also tossed your bunks daily, not weekly and it was 50 guys in a room.
Hated fort sam army medic school. 2014 and we could do shit. Couldn't have a drink on a weekend day pass off base. Everyone was snorting the med hold pain meds with each other. They'd wake us up twice a night in our 4 hours of sleep just for "bed checks" place was ass.
Lol i was in an infantry unit barracks and we had hard liquor and civilian girls in the barracks. After that went south we would sneak girls in with duffel bags.
Ever cut half the inspections out just think how much any branch would actually get done in an entire year all those hours of field daying inspection for the inspection for the inspection the inspection of the day for the inspection of the hour for the inspection of the week for the inspection of the month for the lieutenants inspection of majors inspection the general's inspection the inspection for the inspection now take all that time and train a regular service person to become a sniper wouldn't that be much much better I'm actually willing to bet that hiring a made service for every service personnel's room barracks bunks whatever would be far cheaper than having a military themselves do it instead train them put them in college School them let them do what they're best at you brought them in you're paying them to go break stuff blow stuff up or whatever or do electronics put them in school stop making them into maids
Yep. The military is a hand out. You get paid, you get a roof over your head, you get training, you get food. Y'all should be thanking me for paying taxes instead of me thanking you for service.
