    1. Actually, I think she would do really well with DWTS – she's a natural, and the ratings would go way up with her on the line up. I'm sure they will call her – please, Alysa, so give it a go.

    2. Alysa Liu just might be the greatest Olympic athlete in American history. Diet? Shut your mouth. Curfew? Don't even think about it. And BTW I skate when the mood strikes me. If I'm not feeling it today — you might just find me roasting marshmallows on the beach with my pals — at 12 midnight. [https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=XUOvLHlNxOo%5D And most importantly: I do NOT define my worth as a human being, OR decide whether or not mine is a life well-lived — by my skating results. I skate for the pure joy it brings me, as well as the people in the audience. Talk about doing it "My Way," a la the Frank Sinatra song. What people don't realize, is that to win the Olympic Gold Medal — while living the life of a “regular” and “normal” 20-year-old American young woman — with the pizza, tira misu, Netflix, french fries, late nights and all the rest of it that’s implied…means that Alysa Liu is far-and-away the best "pure athlete" in these Olympic games. She's like Tom Brady or Michael Jordan or Simone Biles or Johannes Klaebo or Usain Bolt — if they only practiced when they felt like it, and ate Halloween candy 365 days a year. She’s reminiscent of tennis great John McEnroe — who hated to practice, and would play his guitar…and then just roll out of bed and win Wimbledon. It literally boggles the mind, how gifted mentally + genetically + athletically Ms. Liu must be, to have accomplished what she just did. Wow!

    3. I really hope she doesn’t do it. The show is sooo tired and it’s so predictable for the “it” people of the most recent Olympics to jump on it. She has gained a massive fan base so quickly that she has the opportunity to do way bigger and better things than DWTS.

    4. It's so interesting when Alysa actually pauses to think before answering questions. Very pensive.

The groundhog question was very funny.
