When meeting royals, one of the most important things to do is the curtsey, a sign of respect. We often see members of the royal family demonstrating the move, but celebrities also pull it off whenever they meet the royals.

Last Tuesday, Queen Camilla hosted several women at Buckingham Palace for a Women of the World reception, and Hannah Waddingham was among the attendees. She pulled off the perfect curtsey, but she’s far from the first celeb to perform one in the company of royalty.

Check out some of the best royal curtseys below, from the likes of Lady Gaga to Victoria Beckham…

Even VB isn’t immune to a royal curtsey. When the fashion designer and pop singer met Queen Camilla at last year’s Women of the World event, she was seen extending the customary courtesy.

In a meeting not many would have expected, the late Queen also met with Lady Gaga. ‘Mother Monster’ was dressed in a stylish red outfit, and she respectfully curtseyed for the monarch.
