Louis Vuitton dressed seven celebrities for the 2026 Vanity Fair Oscar Party, and while you were not sold on their looks for the main event, I’m sure you were hoping for more from the after-party.

Not Convinced
Renate Reinsve and sheer moments are clearly becoming a thing. My first thought was that it looked like one of those cut-out swimsuits with a sheer cover-up, and I’m struggling to look past that, even with the Louis Vuitton High Jewelry Gravité necklace. Sadly, her awards season did not live up to expectations. Her press tour for Sentimental Value was stronger. The red Schiaparelli Haute Couture look from the LA premiere was the one to beat this awards season, and nothing came remotely close.

Midnight Done Right
Chase Infiniti wore a beautiful midnight-blue satin embroidered dress which was elegant, but I was hoping for something more fun and youthful for the after-party. De Beers jewels completed her look.

The Right Dress, Wrong Moment
Alana Haim got her Louis Vuitton dresses the wrong way around. This light-green embroidered gown had the presence and refinement suited to the main event, while her silver look would have made more sense here. The delicate embellishment and flattering silhouette ensure that this is one of her best Louis Vuitton outings to date. Louis Vuitton Fine Jewelry completed her look.

All About The Shoulders
Alysa Liu wore a Louis Vuitton black lurex geometrical mini dress fully embroidered with gunmetal pearls, styled with black satin pumps and Louis Vuitton Fine Jewelry. The texture and shine are strong, but those exaggerated shoulders completely throw the balance off.

Quietly Effective
Danielle Haim wore a Louis Vuitton green silk gown that does not try too hard, and that is exactly why it works. The fluid drape and soft sheen give this look a sense of ease that feels refreshing amid Louis Vuitton’s more complex designs.

Classic With A Twist
Jeremy Allen White wore a Louis Vuitton tuxedo styled with Boucheron jewels, and this is a solid outing. The tailoring is sharp, but the addition of jewellery brings a subtle point of difference that keeps it from feeling predictable.

Clean And Straightforward
Callum Turner has never been a brooch-wearing kind of guy, but with this Louis Vuitton suit, I wish he was, because while this is clean, understated, and well executed, it is also a bit flat. But that’s likely my anti-grey bias kicking in.
