Just hours after embodying winter white elegance in a plunging Prada skirt set at the 2026 Vanity Fair Oscars after party, Bella Hadid slipped into something a little more revealing for a night out on the town. In a March 16 video posted on her Instagram Story, the supermodel maximized the exposed underwear trend in a completely sheer black naked dress.

Creating her own personal catwalk, Hadid strutted down a gilded hallway lined with wine bottles and framed with a large spade-shaped white neon light at the end. The Orebella founder put her peekaboo thong on display in her see-through black midi-length dress, which featured long black straps framing the backless design. Beaded fishtail-inspired black accents criss-crossed over her backside, giving an iridescent sheer to the naked dressing moment. The diaphanous fabric showed off Hadid’s legs and her towering black pointy-toed stilettos.

While The Beauty actress kept her glam look obscured, she pulled her golden-brown hair back into a sleek ballerina bun for the occasion. A multi-watt diamond choker necklace could also be seen from behind, adding some major sparkle to the otherwise monochromatic look.

Hadid’s peekaboo underwear moment was a sartorial 180 from her Oscars look, which featured a plunging Prada ivory halterneck top with a built-in scarf and a matching floor-length column skirt with a low-rise silhouette. She showed off a glimpse of a sparkling choker underneath the floaty scarf and paired it with a large floral-inspired diamond cocktail ring.
Hadid has been booked and busy—and back to a brown (ish) hair color—since Paris Fashion Week. The star, who was recently named the face of Revolve, celebrated her partnership in another sheer look—albeit with her signature Y2K-coded twist—on March 10. Hadid co-hosted a party with the fashion retailer in Los Angeles, looking every inch like the woman of the hour in a see-through black lace cami tank top, cropped black capri pants, and a slouchy black cropped leather jacket that she styled off of one shoulder. A diamond pendant necklace, black pointy-toed stilettos, and a Noughties-approved sleek side-parted hairstyle with side-swept bangs finished off her look.
