Nickelodeon star Chris O’Neal was reportedly arrested in connection to a burglary in Malibu, Calif., on Monday.
The actor, best known for playing Kevin Reed on “How to Rock,” was booked at L.A. County Jail and released the following afternoon, according to TMZ.
The outlet claimed Wednesday that the 31-year-old was among multiple individuals detained over the theft.

The burglary was reported at 5:45 a.m., with law enforcement sources alleging the caller saw three adults were spotted inside the home via security footage.
The group reportedly entered through the back of the home before messing with the cameras.
O’Neal did not immediately respond to Page Six’s request for comment.
He has not posted to social media since November 2025.

O’Neal’s Instagram bio, notably, states that “all [he does] is act and make music.”
In addition to “How to Rock,” which aired in 2012, O’Neal is known for co-hosting Nickelodeon’s “You Gotta See This.”
He went on to play Ben Dupree in the network’s “Swindle” movie the following year, alongside Ariana Grande and Jennette McCurdy, and had a guest role in Zendaya’s “K.C. Undercover” in 2015.
Between 2017 and 2020, O’Neal starred as Daniel Hayward in Netflix’s “Greenhouse Academy.”

The rapper, who released an EP called “Just Getting Started” in 2014, most recently acted in “5th Ward” in 2020.
Before his Nickelodeon debut, O’Neal didn’t have any acting experience besides “three commercials under [his] belt,” he told his YouTube subscribers in an August 2022 video.
“I was the first person in my whole family to attempt this whole acting career, so everything I was doing was from scratch,” he explained at the time.
