Reacher star Alan Ritchson recently was filmed getting into an altercation with a neighbor, and now more details have come to light regarding the incident.

What are the new details surrounding Ritchson’s fight with his neighbor?

According to a new report from TMZ, sources tell the company that Ritchson did not instigate a fight that saw him knock a man down to the ground on a neighbors’ lawn. Sources tell TMZ that the neighbor saw Ritchson riding his motorcycle down the street with his two kids (who were on mini-bikes) over the weekend, when the altercation began. The neighbor, Ronnie Taylor, allegedly tried to stop Ritchson from riding in a “really aggressive” manner.

As a result of Taylor stepping into the street, TMZ notes, Ritchson fall off his motorcycle. The two then got into the altercation that was filmed, with Taylor allegedly daring Ritchson to hit him before shoving Ritchson to the ground as the star attempted to leave the scene. This is where the video then cuts on, with Alan seen throwing a few punches at Taylor, who was down on the ground already.

In a subsequent interview with TMZ, Taylor showed off the marks from the scrap, and explained that he believed Ritchson was riding his motorcycle too fast through their residential street. Taylor notes he was cleaning his own bike outside of his home when Ritchson rode by a first time. When Ritchson drove by again, he said he decided to “take a stand” and get in front of Ritchson to tell him to slow down, which is when the incident began.

“I did push him because he was coming toward me on his bike, he did it again for a second time, I pushed him again a second time, and I think the second time he got off of his bike and kicked the crap out of me,” Taylor said. The man says he wishes no malice or ill-will toward Ritchson, but just wanted him to slow down. He also noted he had been in contact with police, but that no arrests have been made so far.
