      I could cry I could actually cry 🥹

      A femme wlw plotline in one of the most watched shows ever? Getting to see 2 princesses get their happily ever after after having grown up w lovely (but very cishet) Disney Princess movies?

      There’s been some pockets of the Bridgerton sub that just don’t support having a genderbent Michaela, ranging from complaints that seem fair (wanting more character development before the big romance) to just bordering on homophobia

      Edit: I asked if an HR for wlw could be possible, and was told to just watch the L Word (revolutionary in its time, outdated in important ways) and San Junipero (so perfect but it’s just one ep that came out like 10 yrs ago)

      Poor Claudia Jessie is going to be 40 playing 25 by the time they get to her season 😭 I hope they do some of it in the background of s5 because I can’t have another season of Eloise sitting around with nothing to do

      I will not be watching Eloise’s season so I’m happy season 5 is Francesca.

      I haven’t watched a whole season of this show other than S2 and I’m not really interested in Francesca, but I’ll tune in for the lesbianism.

      I always thought it would be Fran season 5. The show is renewed until season 6 currently. Eloise is a fan favourite which guarantees high viewership and a renewal until season 8.

      Fran’s season is controversial and it wouldn’t surprise me if there’s a major drop in viewership.

      I don’t think Bridgerton would ever get canceled but I do think they decided to play it safe

      I feel like they’ll build up for Eloise’s season like they did for Frans this season

      This is disappointing, not because I’m not excited about this pairing and their storyline (I am), but because I’m really struggling to understand sidelining Eloise’s story for another season. I sincerely hope they have side plot with Eloise to set up her season rather than keep her in the same role she’s been playing, because I think that could work if they do it properly.

      I love Francesca and Michaela though and am looking forward to their story unfolding and relationship developing, but I’m surprised by the order they are doing these things and I’m hoping that doesn’t cloud their season and people’s feelings to the point of them finding more reasons to not like the pairing.

      Also I’m just getting increasingly more frustrated with Bridgerton anyway bc idk why I should care and get invested with these characters anymore since after their season, they’re just going to disappear into the background and become nothing. But that’s a whole different topic 😩

      frankly I do not know why after they got the greenlight for season 2 that they did not film all of them in successon like they did the LOTR and the Matrix.

      Pretty sure they know how Eloïse is in the fanbase and are postponing her season like a dandling 🥕

      Also, I’m surprised people are surprised. Hannah (playing Francesca) was everywhere during press tour for S4. It was clear as day.

      Yeah, I’m not tuning in until Eloise’s season. Happy we get a sapphic main couple, but it’s rushed, diminishes John’s role in Fran’s life, and screws over Eloise.

      That is, if we even get an Eloise season. I’m afraid this decision will kill the franchise.
