I have to say this really helps my suspension of disbelief about the trope in the show that people would walk up to Jack Reacher and pick a fight they can’t win

Now that Ive seen the whole video I really hoped Ritchson would press charges
the way that his has turned out to be the most satisfying story of the last week is amazing (still waiting for someone to confirm those dogs aren’t AI so I can feel good abotu that too)

Alan’s body cam footage shows his speedometer at 22 mph when the guy attempted to block the road. Typically residential areas have a 25 mph speed limit.

“Speeding down residential streets on motorcycles with no regard for neighbors or their kids…” give me a break. You can see he was going 19 mph in the video. Also, being a motorcycle rider myself, going up and down residential streets is the absolute safest place you can be, especially when kids are involved. They followed every safety precaution in the video, with their helmets and how they’re riding. The neighbor is an absolute POS and he reminds me a lot of the crazy lady in The Perfect Neighbor.

The comments yesterday from people saying Reacher (the character Ritchson plays) wouldn’t have done this are hilarious. Reacher would have hospitalized the guy at minimum. It looks like Ritchson was reluctant to fight.
That neighbor is crazy. I can’t imagine instigating a fight against a guy that could do a reasonable impersonation of a gorilla, let alone one that is also wearing a motorcycle helmet.
