I cannot believe that in 2026 this is still up for debate. I mean, I *can* believe it, but also the bar is in hell. Someone please help us.

The fact she has to clarify this says a lot about how people still treat survivors

  3. Weinstein is so entitled. He was only convicted on a tiny portion of cases and he has already found loopholes to appeal them. He also hired an Israeli paramilitary force to threaten and target his accusers and was even introduced to them by the former Israeli president. And in prison he is isolated to protect him and he is living with amenities and resources most prisoner could merely dream or. The man is a heinous villain and he got an extremely lenient sentence for a life of crime yet he is still pissed at the perceived injustice?

  4. What’s crazy is that those three names are from some very famous families. They don’t need to be in any clubs.

What a shit thing to have happened and that she has been forced to defend. On her last point: you don’t have to forgive someone to move on. You can simply accept the situation and move on.

  6. The fact she has to even say this. Ugh. It also reminds me of anyone who would dare say someone that comes forward about being raped (which all of *waves around at everything** this attitude and general lack of meaningful justice anyway fosters) is ‘doing it for clout’ or ‘regret’ or revenge/wants to ruin someone’s life.

Abusers love the ‘the women are all lying and greedy ‘ narratives. They know they can count on the misogyny (both outright and internalized in women who support the abusers).
