Cardi B dripped in gold and lingerie-inspired elements in a Valdrin Sahiti design for her Tuesday night appearance on “The Tonight Show Starring Jimmy Fallon” in New York City.
The “Bodak Yellow” artist turned to Sahiti’s fall 2025 collection for her late-night stint. Cardi wore a metallic gold gem-encrusted, floor-length dress that transitioned to flowing black fabric near the hem of the skirt.

The formfitting dress featured lingerie-inspiration with black lace cups. A sleeveless silhouette and design provided the ideal framing for the artist to show off her intricate tattoos. Cutouts at the back also added to the overall sensual styling theme.
As for glam, Cardi contrasted her dress with pared back beauty, with her voluminous hair worn natural and subtle makeup elements including lined eyes and a glossy lip. The “Money” rapper regularly collaborates with longtime stylist Kollin Carter.
“If I could describe her style I would say drama. She’s really into the dramatics,” Carter said to WWD, referencing Cardi’s style, back in 2017. “We love to overdo it in performances — [it’s] one of those aspects that gives us that chance to be us, be out there, be bold and be fun.”

Valdrin Sahiti’s designs have been making the rounds on the red carpet as of late. Prior to Cardi B’s appearance on “The Tonight Show,” Ciara styled a look by the designer for the NFL Honors red carpet in February. Similar to Cardi’s Tuesday night look, Ciara’s dress also merged metallic shine with lingerie-inspired lace details.
While Sahiti takes cues from classic design codes, the couturier’s oeuvre showcases contemporary glamor with a maximalist approach. Along with Ciara and Cardi B, Jennifer Lopez and Beyoncé Knowles-Carter have worn Sahiti’s designs in the past.
