    1. They are frustrated with a system that values men’s opinions above all else. Totally understandable, I wonder how many projects don’t get made because it’s not sellable to men?

    2. EXACTLY! Thank you to you both, because Do We?! No ~ LoL! Women have crazy market buying power, so these movie execs need to stop playing dumb and trying to get in the way of exceptional storylines because they don’t think some men would want to see it.

    3. Look, being a boy within that age group, I don’t need any thing in particular in my movies, but you put viola davis in any movie and im there in an instance.

    4. Well do they want to make money ? In order for a movie to have a broad audience you have to appeal to most of the population, or at least the movie going population

      Of course it sucks that executives and studios are asking these questions but if you’re investing a lot of money on a movie of course you’d want to appeal to most of the audience

      If it’s an indie or an awards play or contender , or a movie just for the sake of art , then who cares ? Just learn how to market it to the right audience
