Her husband isn’t the head of state. Her FIL is. She didn’t even need to be there. The fact that she is unnecessarily there in the midst of scandals about her rapist son and her friendship with a rapist and human trafficker is a pretty clear message from the royal family that they think her bullsh*t interview adequately addressed her actions and redeemed her. 🙄🙄🙄

I thought her interview had one clear message: no one will stop me from being Queen when Haakon is King. And I think this “surprise” appearance is part of that message. (No, I do not believe she had a new outfit tailored and ready to wear and just made a random decision this morning to participate in this event, after an obvious photo op this weekend of her walking with a portable oxygen tank.)
