I especially love how he did this without mentioning any politician or party. It was 100% on point about actions and results.

I hope we see more like him run for office.

Look, I understand there’s merit into (actually) researching trash cans (Netherlands have something great going for them in that area), but “paid $1.6m to research trash cans” is really funny.

Really funny in an amusing way, but mostly, in that *way to keep you from crying

  6. This project is a running joke among all consulting firms. It’s completely a waste of money and McK was laughing all the way to the bank.

  7. Huh, a competent leader, who (at least so far), seems like he is not corrupt. WHO WOULD HAVE THOUGHT?

Damn, can we have a mamdani for the federal government that does this for the military and gives us social programs instead?

Hopefully he starts divesting all NYC funds from Israel as well.

  9. Everyone needs to stop giving MckInsey money. They are just some rando ass MBA folks with no experience coming up with random ideas which mostly are just layoffs. If anyone’s interested, John Oliver did a good spot on them a few years back.

I remember I was part of a McKinsey consulting project way back in the day. They were paid millions of dollars and we basically ignored their stupid recommendations. Hated them ever since. Hated them more after Jon Oliver did a feature on them. They’re grifters of the highest order and responsible for the bullshit toxic corpo speak that leads to lays off and more.

Can I just say that this type of video is kinda what I expected from the “social media age” of political nessaging. It’s simple, well spoken, engaging, and tells us what he’s doing. I would want there to be links backing up all of these claims in whatever post this is in (which I imagine there’s plenty), but I greatly enjoy this type of packaging for political information. Feels like a wise way to reach your base

I hate that this country has fucked me up so much, that this man doing good things for the people of New York makes me wonder what ulterior motives he has. He’s probably just a good guy, doing good things, but that’s where I am now.
