“I’m not easily impressed when it comes to tools. I work in beauty every single day, so I know what actually performs and what doesn’t,” she says.
When I sat down with Naeemah, I was really paying attention to how this was going to feel on my hair. That’s always the first thing for me. The moment she started, I noticed something different. It didn’t have the intense heat you usually get with hot tools. I actually said it right away; it feels like your hair isn’t getting burned, which, for me, is huge.
Then I started noticing how fast everything was happening. I also understood what it was doing technically. The result comes from the chasing method we use in the salon, where you use a comb and a flat iron together to get that silky look. But doing that on your own is honestly hard. You’re juggling tools and trying to get the tension right. With this, it’s built in. That’s what makes it feel easy.
