Two of Canada's biggest TV shows that debuted globally last year both earned nominations at this year's Canadian Screen Awards. Think the Canadian version of the BAFTA Awards or the Emmys and Oscar's rolled into one for Canadian TV and film.
North of North received 20 nominations, leading all 2026 Canadian Screen Award nominations overall, and Heated Rivalry received 18 nominations.

Came here to praise North of North too and so far all coments are NoN related rather than HR. I’m going to take a wild guess and assume that all of us LOVED HR, but interesting that North of North was the hook that brought us in to the chat.
Hope this convinces others to watch it if they haven’t. It was so, so good!
