This is exactly what it looks like when money talks louder than voters. If we do not curb super PAC cash and dark money, regular people will keep getting sold out.

Americans need to understand that the political system that we’re taught from birth is “democracy”, was in reality designed to be explicitly anti-democratic, and to ensure minoritarian/oligarchic rule in perpetuity.
The US has always been designed to ensure minoritarian/oligarchic rule, well before Citizens United.
Madisonian “democracy” is in no way even remotely “representative”, legitimate, or democratic.
The political system has always been fundamentally a scam, specifically designed to be anti-democratic, and to protect the “opulent minority” from both political and economic democracy.
That’s why we have a ruling Epstein class who can get away with unlimited corruption and unlimited crimes against humanity, while the masses of people are left to wonder “how are they getting away with all of this?”
Citizens United was just when the global ruling Epstein class realized they had stolen enough wealth and power to do away with even the thinnest pretenses of “democracy”.
We’re now in a “mask off” oligarchy/kleptocracy, but prior to Citizens United it was a “mask on” oligarchy/kleptocracy where the ruling class still felt the need to pretend to some extent.
The US is not a real democracy, and it never has been, and Americans need to understand that in order to revolt/evolve into being an actual democracy.
Going to a pre-Citizens United US would be an improvement for sure, but it would still be an oligarchy/kleptocracy, because the US has always been a pseudo-democracy, with a political system designed to guarantee minoritarian/oligarchic rule.
