What percentage of Christy Carlson Romano’s upcoming memoir will be her going “girl idk” about Shia LaBeouf? Not zero, we bet. Romano announced her book, Once Upon a Trainwreck: The Rise and Fall of a Child Star, on social media Tuesday. “It took me two grueling years to write this memoir. I had to relive my lowest lows, my highest highs, and find the courage to share my most vulnerable moments with you,” she wrote. “It’s risky. It’s honest. It’s the most empowered I’ve ever felt.” Romano illustrated the announcement with pics from her child-star days — including a pic of her high-school graduating class, which also included Scarlett Johansson and Jack Antonoff. Wild way to find out those three are the same age.
The official synopsis given to People says Romano “became famous before she could protect herself,” and will trace “her toxic rise to fame, how she lost it all and the hard-won comeback that made her stronger and more successful than ever before.” The book will go over Romano’s alcohol addiction and the time she was “emotionally blackmailed into giving thousands of dollars to a manipulative psychic.” Once Upon a Trainwreck hits bookshelves October 6.

It’s risky.
It’s honest.
It’s the most empowered I’ve ever felt.
And I’m proud to finally share it.
