It would be the PM cancelling state visits not the King btw but not surprised a plurality want it cancelled
I wish it had never been instigated
But I think cancelling it would be a worse option, though.

King Willem & Queen Maxima will be in DC & the US April 13-April 15 so it seems a popular time for diplomatic visits. Maybe someone can get through to the mad orange man.
Ugh, this is…difficult. Trump is a goddamned child with a pathological need to be flattered. He is also *obsessed* with the BRF so Charles and Co are uniquely placed to sway him toward better outcomes for you and Europe as a whole. This pretty bad look in the short term might be worth it in the long run. Time will tell.
