I didn't hate the first episode of The Office, I just found it very cringie because of Michael Scott but once you could put up with his stupidity it was good.
I would think P&Rs audience had the same sense of humor that loved TO but it was different & like every new relationship it takes time to get to knw tge characters & understand how good it is
Episode 1 of The Office was a hard cringe fest to watch… but I wasn’t a fan of The Office UK, which is what Episode 1 was. But Episode 2, Diversity Day is the episode I knew this was something special. & I haven’t stopped watching. It’s the only DVD collection I still own… just in case I can’t ever stream it, I can still watch it!😂
"The Office" (America) was so AWFUL!!! Perhaps, had I not seen the British version first … But as a person who was working Parks & Rec when "Parks & Recreation" came out, it was WONDERFUL!!! But way too close to home. I could go to work and come home and watch work.
I didn't like how in the first season Leslie was so goofy and incompetent. In the second season when she was more self-possessed but still goofy it really made me like her more.
I showed a friend the office because I knew he would like the later seasons and the pilot had him in the fetal position in disbelief that I would show him something he hated so much
I loved Parks and Rec, but I watched it years after it was done. I still can’t get myself to finish a single episode of The Office, I do like the YT shorts of the show though 😊
My only thing was that they never explained why it was a documentary style and why they did the talking heads and stuff for Parks and Rec. Also, when the office came out I had not really seen any mockumentary stuff before and I was so weirded out that people were actually acting like that. But the same way about Reno 911.
some of the best shows start off slow tbh. I think it's part of the recipe, you have to establish so many characters and lore to make the upcoming jokes make sense!

I laugh like a maniac with the firts episode or parks and rec …. While i got SO bored with yeah office … Taste are different for evebody

The less the U.S. Office became like the British one, the better it got
The less Parks & Rec became like the U.S. office, the better it got (until it became my favorite of the 3 and one of my favorite shows of all time)
I liked ep 2 of the office when it debuted as a kid. Then I never watched again, till this day.

The office is goated for real. From start to finish its a really great experience and will have you emotionally invested
My wife has seen the office in its entirety about 15+times, she'll put it on and will start reciting scenes before it happens
