It seems like a a big deal to shoot a crocodile but it’s very easy and it usually involves shooting a basically defenseless animal at point blank range right behind the skull plate.

Killing animals like this is what serial killers and psychopaths do. They weren’t hunting, these two guys just randomly shot an alligator almost 50 times, only to proceed to talk about fucking a fish.
Then he goes on to try to shoot a drone down, a federal crime.

They came across an alligator that appeared to be a floating alligator carcass (aka dead) and shot it.

Hes probably privileged enough to get out of it, but you can still face charges even for doing stuff like that to an animal who’s already dead. There was a dumb kid in my school who was in juvie/probation for “molestation of a water fowl” for shooting bbs at a dead goose or something. If an animal is more endangered or wild it might be even more.
