The organisers of a 300-person Sydney retreat, which headlines Meghan Markle as a guest speaker, have announced the addition of a new guest to appear alongside the Duchess. The Duchess of Sussex is set to appear at a women-only weekend retreat in Sydney, with tickets starting at A$2,699 (£1,400) per person.
Gemma O’Neill, 42, the talent manager behind radio presenter Jackie O’Henderson, confirmed Dr Justine Corry as the latest addition to the speaker lineup for her ‘Her Best Life Retreat’. Dr Corry, who describes herself as a scientist and behaviour change expert with two decades of clinical psychology experience, now operates as a relationship coach.
On a podcast appearance, Dr Corry said: “I suppose I want to introduce women to the idea of schemas and the schemas that prevent them from living their best life. I think knowing your schemas is a superpower, and it really allows you to be authentic and embody your values and be more emotionally resilient.”
Attendees hoping to secure a place at the three-day wellness experience face costs between £1,400 and £1,700 per person.
The Q&A with Meghan will take the format of a “fireside chat”.
Described as an “unforgettable weekend for women ready to reconnect, recharge and have some serious fun”, the event will be held at a five-star hotel at Coogee Beach in Sydney’s eastern suburbs.
It is reported that the retreat, scheduled for April 17 to 19, faces additional complications as the InterContinental’s facilities remain incomplete just weeks before guests arrive.
In 2018, Prince Harry and Meghan Markle visited Australia on their first royal tour. Their 16-day tour in October that year was the then-newly married royal couple’s first major overseas trip.
They visited Bondi Beach, took a boat ride on Sydney Harbour and Prince Harry climbed the Sydney Harbour Bridge with then-Prime Minister Scott Morrison.
In 2020, the couple stepped down as working royals and moved to the US, amid family tensions.
