Prince William and Kate Middleton’s children are starting to realize their upbringing is anything but “normal.” Royal photographer Chris Jackson, who’s worked for the family for over two decades, shared his thoughts on Prince George, Princess Charlotte, and Prince Louis in a new interview.
“You don’t see them very often, but when you do see them, it’s lovely to watch them kind of growing up,” Jackson told Page Six in an article published on Friday, March 27.

“I’m guessing they realize it’s not normal to be in these situations,” Jackson said, referencing their lives in the public eye.
Although they’re only 12, 11, and 7, the children of the Prince and Princess of Wales have become frequent fixtures at many royal family engagements, including Trooping the Color.
“It’s lovely to see them interacting together,” Jackson said of George, Charlotte, and Louis. “Photographing them over the years has been really special.”

Prince William and Middleton married in 2011, welcoming Prince George two years later. The couple’s second child, Princess Charlotte, was born in 2015, followed by Prince Louis in 2018.
The children’s longtime nanny, Maria Teresa Turrión Borrallo, is thought to be winding down her employment with the Wales family as Louis turns 8.

As a graduate of the prestigious Norland College, Borrallo’s education focused on early childhood development. On its website, the nanny training and employment agency says they provide care for children up to 8 years old.
“Maria loves the children dearly,” an insider once told People. “She can be firm and strict, but she is very loving and soft with them too.”
