Jinger Duggar Vuolo, and her husband, Jeremy Vuolo, break their silence on Jinger’s brother Joseph Duggar’s arrest last week. Joseph, who was charged with lewd and lascivious behavior with a minor, was arrested just days before his wife, Kendra, was also arrested on charges of endangering the welfare of a minor and false imprisonment: charges Joseph is also facing. Kendra’s charges are unrelated to Joseph’s molestation accusation. On their self-titled podcast, Jinger and Jeremy emotionally react to the ‘pain and heartbreak’ they’ve experienced over the latest family turmoil.

I had always wondered if any other of the male siblings had been affected so negatively by their upbringing. It was an unnatural process. One cannot raise children to deny life’s pleasures, and to lead a severely restricted life, and simply to adhere to the strict teachings of the head of that church. They weren’t even biblical teachings. Every child will not be affected in that manner, but to have even 1 male sibling being a predator, has to be soul crushing for the other children in that family. Jim Bob and Michelle Duggar as parents need to reflect on the damage done to both their children, especially their girls, and the remaining victims of their then teenage sons. I’m sure this was never their intention. That’s why it’s so important to have kids lead a more balanced life.
