  1. Infuriating. It frames the conversation around her, and then the onus is on her to respond.

  2. That’s SO shitty that Google will bring this up under her name now but the actual predator’s name isn’t even mentioned in the headlines. What does she even have to do with that? For shame

So they will link it to Zendaya but not Robert Pattinson anything to make a woman look bad 🙄

  4. People will try and say this is not misogyny because she’s more famous (and they’ll think that’s a good faith argument)

TMZ did the same with that “controversial” movie review, attaching only her name to it. They’re so weird

100% purely an SEO play, but it doesn’t make it less shitty for them to do this

…Zendaya’s director? She has nothing to do with this. It’s not like it’s a secret, they all know his name and should be putting in Kristoffer Borgli. It’s not that hard.

Once again showing how WOC are treated differently than white men by the press

I know people who are trying to be Objective and Fair™ point out the obvious: that of course that man’s name isn’t widely recognizable so they have to use an actor from the movie to make the headlines. But just making it about Zendaya when Pattinson is a household name as well (and for much longer than her!) is a pattern of how the media many times tries to attach men’s faults to women because misogyny is profitable.

  10. Could’ve easily wrote “The Drama director” without dragging Zendaya’s name into this mess. A bunch of vultures.

Feels like classic clickbait. Zendaya gets thrown in the headline because her name gets attention, even when the story is really about Kristoff. Pretty predictable at this point

another man’s disappointment, i stopped idolizing them long ago, nothing surprises me anymore, the bar is in hell

It’s always like this, huh. Have to make it about Zendaya somehow and not the actual man. And in reverse when a woman achieves it’s always “so and so’s wife” and not her own name.

But I bet you the articles will mention Robert’s name if the movie does well at the box office.

Whenever a dudebro tries to argue with me that sexism has been cured, cause women can vote. Whatever I’ll show him this

Unless Zendaya is the writer of “The Drama” her name shouldn’t be included in this.

🙄 so tired of the media doing this bullshit

When I kept seeing this, I wondered if maybe she was some sort of executive producer on the project and that’s why they keep referring to it as “ZENDAYA’S The Drama” so I looked it up and nope… Co produced by three MEN (Ari Aster, Lars Knudsen, Tyler Campellone)

It’s giving when Rachel Ziegler became the sacrificial lamb as a spokesperson for West Side Story when criticism over Ansel Elgort being cast arose despite her just being a teenage girl who was simply cast in her first big project with no say in who would star alongside her, unlike the big shot male director Stephen Spielberg.
