Is that why he demolished the white house.
He saw some foreign palaces and thought , yea my government accommodation should look like this.
Those palaces were built 200 years ago to impress toffs and drink wine in.
Even our kings often chose a more modern sensible house to actually live in and our ministers live on a street (its actually a facade, but the point is not to act egotistical)
The white house is famous and impressive enough as it is. Nobody was thinking it didn’t look regal enough.
There have been kings, queens, ambassadors and all sorts of dignitaries visiting for many, many years without it. He just wants to destroy anything decent and put his name on the gaudy, tacky things he replaces them with
