That period where she was the most hated actress is still crazy to look back on, it was like peak “anti-woke” era and basically everyone on youtube was using her for hate clicks. It set the stage for Halle baily/Rachel Zegler (although theirs had a racist component)
I can’t tell if the new hair colour is making Brie look really different, she does look really different or I’m having a touch of face blindness.

I love her.
I feel like most children/teens played Nintendo games/ Mario games growing up and I never got the feeling that it was considered weird or dorky. I feel like Mario is pretty mainstream 🤷🏽♀️ like pretty much everyone I know played these games and it wasn’t something anyone was ridiculed for? If anything you felt more out of the loop when your parents couldn’t afford to get you every game that came out. I’m super curious if people experience otherwise

I like Brie for the record, very good actress. But I feel like everytime I see this woman and I read the comment sections and it’s 99% just people trying to come to her aid and white knight and fight some imaginary monster that’s not there, it’s so cringe. Objectively she made a mistake back in the day with the wrinkle in time thing, that criticism she brought onto herself. Objectively of course some dorks like the quarter or whatever his name is took it too far and got too obsessed. But if people don’t wanna like her for her opinions it’s not that big of a deal, some of y’all don’t gotta get as cringe as you get about it.

She gonna flex that Mario knowledge on the writers make sure everything is lore accurate. Thank god we have an elite Mario gamer on the scene. We are in good hands.
