I wanted to watch the movie because the cast of five girls showed such great chemistry in interviews. Plus, they cast a deaf actress, and as a deaf guy, I loved that choice. Honestly, it turned out to be pretty decent.

Did Maddie know sign before this? It was a complete surprise when she started signing back! It must’ve been nice to have another member of the cast capable of communicating directly
