      I love when people like this who go on and on about “supporting the troops” pretend to be patriotic by saluting.

      First off, that was one of the worst salutes I’ve ever seen.

      Second, unless you are a vet, active, or in the chain of command, you don’t salute. That’s not for you.

      My best friend’s husband has spent the better part of 2025 and 2026 so far having to complete some kind of flight training in the Army reserves and had to miss the winter holidays, birthdays, and will probably miss graduation for their oldest son because they called him back to do more training next month for at least 3 months, even though he already spent that and more in training last year. If I understand it, his return home kept getting pushed back because one of the groups ahead of them kept failing.

      And then I get on here and see this shit.
