I cannot believe a wealthy person had tile as countertops. The house I grew up in had those and I hated them so much. It’s impossible to keep clean. I always thought the previous owner was just being cheap and came up with this crappy idea. But, she had this in her home! Why.
This is like the coolest house EVER.

2. Wild how design trends change decade to decade. I think wallpaper was being phased out early 2000s and today you would be hard pressed to find black shiny cabinets many places. Correct me if I’m wrong ofc but it’s fascinating.
Saw Licorice Pizza this weekend and can’t help but think how this house got ruined by those kids and that waterbed.
You know what, I just saw a post about drew Barrymore’s home too. I think these women are pretty ok, as far as celebs go, so it’s not personal but I feel like we pay celebs too much. It’s crazy we’re in a world where some people live like this and other people don’t have food and water.
