They should give part of the profit to indigenous and ask for consent. If they can’t get it, they should drill somewhere else. They also need to work harder on safety measures so that people and wildlife aren’t negatively impacted…but they do need to drill somewhere because we do need oil. It’s in everything, and we don’t have a viable replacement yet. Also, companies should follow Norway and Denmark in using the money from oil to fund benefits for their citizens like healthcare! A couple of execs shouldn’t be getting filthy rich hoarding all the wealth from oil!
