Getting sacked for “personal conduct” is the corporate way of saying “it’s about to get messy.” For someone who has been a BBC stalwart for 24 years to be dropped instantly without a farewell tour or a “moving on to new projects” PR spin is a massive red flag. The Mirror is already reporting it’s a historic relationship complaint, this is going to be a long week of headlines.

Oof didn’t see that one coming. Seems pretty sudden considering he was promoting the radio show just the other day.

I hope he got sacked for something lighter than what Saville or Huw Edwards did, but we should all expect the worst.

This is about to get messyyyyyy, he’s such beloved radio host that it’s gonna be big scandal if he’s done something bad.

I used to be obsessed with British radio back when one direction was big, but I only really know Scott from when he’d show up and pal around on Nick Grimshaq’s Breakfast Show but even then it’s hard to imagine as him being a predator. But I guess men are gonna be men so any sort of complaint is possible

Wasn’t some other British (tv) host just fired for an inappropriate, longterm relationship with a work subordinate who was way too young?

Not saying that’s the case here but iirc the scandal rolled out similarly

Holy shit, this one came out of left field. My pal works on his show, raging she never gave me a heads up!
