    Final Thoughts: Worth Watching?
Absolutely Anything is a deeply uneven film. It has moments of genuine comedy, a cast that any director would kill for, and a premise that invites endless possibilities. But it also has a script that never quite commits to exploring those possibilities, a romantic subplot that stumbles into uncomfortable territory, and a tone that wavers between family-friendly and surprisingly adult.

And yet, there’s something oddly endearing about it. Simon Pegg’s performance is reliably charming. Robin Williams’s voice work is a bittersweet reminder of his talents. And the Python aliens, however underused, provide moments of genuine absurdist joy.

For fans of British comedy, Pegg’s filmography, or anyone curious about Robin Williams’s final role, Absolutely Anything is worth a watch. Just don’t expect it to change your life—or, as the film might warn, be careful what you wish for.

    1. I could literally without powers push this human race to the edge of a stage 2 civilization. But with your paygates and “gotta be popular” sht you won’t let me. Everyone could have as much as they needed and our tech would jump hundreds if not thousands of years within the decade.

    2. It's why in my fantasies I generally don't try to fix everything, because the only way I could do it right is if I was omniscient. Which would be literal hell for me, as boredom would utterly consume me.

    3. It really pisses me off that the writer of this movie actually thought that giving people a place to live would cause some type of massive overpopulation crisis. Like homelessness is a necessary evil because it isnt possible to house everyone.
      Absolutely ridiculous

    4. This reminds me of a line from a movie: "You stupid! Kindness and compassion won't save others. You need to learn to understand and have the skill to do it, otherwise you'll only kill them." It's quite true that he has the ability to do absolutely whatever he wants, but he lacks the understanding and skill to use it right, he just kill so many people just because he only have Kindness.

    5. So fuckin dumb. "Oh you wanna get rid of starvation? Everyone's fat INSTANTLY LOL! If everyone had home then hurr durr infinite gated communities!!11!!! Did you say 'no senseless war?' How about countries just start declaring war senselessly even tho thats exactly what you said not to happen lololol" imma dropkick whoever wrote this shit.

    6. The audacity to say China would be the first one.
Those guys were giving their women hooves for beauty standards, no amount of food would fatten them up 😂

    7. War isn’t always senseless. What Russia is doing to Ukraine would be senseless. The US and Isreal ending a tyrannical regime thats killing millions in the 40 plus years its been committing terror and being a literal sponsor for not to mention the 40k plus they just murdered is not senseless. We already know what would happen if the world allowed them to get nuclear weapons and massive ballistic missiles stockpiles. They would be another North Korea. Thats why we let them be. It would take to much to go in and take all of that out without having nuclear war. Iran is also more insane then North Korea because their ideology tells them to kill everyone that doesn’t follow their ideology. North Korea the dude seams content just with having the same weapons as everyone else but isn’t really threatening to use them. Yeah they shoot a missile into the sea every once in a while but its not like they are hitting other countries. Its still not ideal because one insult could change that but people like Iran would use it just because they don’t like Israel.

    8. We have "endless" food in the West and while there are obese people, it is not a big problem. Hunger and starvation on the other hand is. Also, you can build homes without needing excessive space. The world is big and we only make a human "meatball" the size of New York.

    9. Sigh… struggle defines us as human. You cannot have everything perfect for it all must be balanced. Good can only exist if evil exists and vice versa

    10. My first wish always "Make me super smart so I can make very wise decisions always".

"detonate every nuclear weapon in the world right now" if the first wish did not go like I hoped for.

    11. There was an experiment where they created a controlled, self contained environment, filled it with a bunch of rats and let the animals have all the food and water they wanted. Long term it became a disaster. Eventually none of the rats wanted to do anything. They turned on themselves and the colony died out despite living in abundance.
