Craig shared a sweet picture of them together, along with the caption: “My mother-in-law Anna Fleming passed away at 8-43 Sunday night. One of the most significant women in my entire life. One of the kindest, wisest and intelligent people I’ve ever had the pleasure to know, RIP MUM.”

He was flooded with support from his campmates as Gogglebox star Scarlett Moffatt wrote: “So sorry Craig, sending love to all your family”, while Adam Thomas wrote: “Much love dude.”

It comes after Craig had to quit the jungle in 2014, just four days after entering after discovering his brother Dean had died after a heart attack.

A TV insider told The Sun last year: “So many viewers were rooting for Craig to win when he appeared on the show the first time and he stood a good chance of being crowned King of the Jungle. But he was robbed of the experience by the family tragedy, although his campmates and the production team all understood why he wanted to leave and head home to be with his loved ones.

“So ITV has given him another go, and it’s a move which has never been done on the show before — bringing someone back who had to leave due to such circumstances.”

It comes as the All Stars cast were all photographed together in their I’m A Celeb khakis and red tops, in front of the South African wilderness.

While the contestants all look happy and smiley in their photos, an initial teaser for the show saw hosts Ant and Dec looking terrified as they sat around a campfire.

In the ten-second teaser, first aired during the opening episode of Britain’s Got Talent on 21 February, Ant and Dec sat around a campfire.

Ant became alarmed by a mysterious noise. “What was that?” he asked, as Dec pointed out it was a “big cat”. Instantly, a terrified Ant jolted up, exclaiming: “A big cat?! No way!” before Dec followed him.
