Wake up, babe, there’s a new photo going viral because someone in the Trump administration thinks it’s “unflattering.”A person in a suit walks through curtains adorned with Swiss and American flags at the World Economic Forum

In case you’re getting deja vu right now, this isn’t the first time something like this has happened. A couple of weeks ago, Defense Secretary Pete Hegseth made headlines after his staff banned press photographers from attending Pentagon press conferences. Apparently, he didn’t like the way he looked in some of their photos.A person in a suit speaking with a serious expression in front of a U.S. flag backdrop

An AFP spokesperson reportedly told People that the photo wasn’t removed because of the White House’s complaints. Instead, he said the agency “determined that this specific image did not meet our editorial standards.”But people online have their own theories about the photo, which you can see below:Person smiling with a turkey in the foreground at a formal event, as noted in a tweet about its perceived unflattering nature krassenstein / Andrew Caballero-Reynolds / Via x.comIn addition to going viral on Twitter, it’s also being shared on Bluesky:A person smiles close to the camera, with text referring to a reaction from White House Press Secretary Karoline Leavitt artcandee / Andrew Caballero-Reynolds / Via bsky.app

Now I’m not a fan of Karoline Leavitt, but as someone who has accidentally opened my phone’s front-facing camera more times than I’d like to admit, I gotta say that angle is not kind to anyone. What are your thoughts?
